All students must meet with an NLU advisor to go over exact course and program requirements at the time of enrollment. Each student is responsible for registering on time. A copy of the academic calendar is sent via email to current students and is published on the website. Local students (within 60-mile radius of Murfreesboro, TN): The registration deadline is always 15 days prior to the date of the first class meeting.
Reminder:
As part of the life coaching program, each student will be paired with a life coach for six mentoring sessions at cost to the student. This portion of the program will be set up during the Basic Training for Life Coaching.
BASIC TRAINING FOR LIFE COACHING
Spring Quarter
In this course, you will learn basic concepts and models of life coaching. Upon successful completion, you will know how to (a) conduct life coaching sessions from the beginning to the end of a coaching relationship, (b) effectively listen to and communicate with clients and (c) help your clients change and achieve their goals.

ADVANCED TRAINING FOR LIFE COACHING
Winter Quarter
This advanced course will focus on two main areas to help you become a better life coach and conduct sessions with greater success: 1) You will learn how to fully dig into your passions and desires to build your life coaching career. 2) You will also learn how to hone your skills to build a life coaching business through marketing.
TEMPERAMENT PROFILES
APS reports
Upon successful completion of Creation Therapy, you can begin providing temperament coaching with clients. Administering the Arno Profile System (APS) assessment with 10 clients is required and involves running a clinical report for each.
